Nagpur: A Nepali woman who was raped has traveled 800km from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to Nagpur in Maharashtra. The woman said the rape took place in the capital of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

“The rapist threatened to kill the police if they contacted him. So they have escaped and complained, ”the victim said. A woman came to the Nagpur police station with the help of a friend and registered a zero FIR on sexual harassment of a woman.

Zero FIR is an FIR that can be recorded at any police station in the country. According to the complaint, Praveen Rajpal Yadav, a software engineer in Dubai, allegedly raped her when she arrived in Lucknow in March.
