Maithon police rescues young man from Kaimur in Bihar, six arrested

35-year-old Sanjay Kumar Singh, resident of Kurda police station area of ​​Kaimur district, Bihar, has been rescued from the clutches of the kidnappers. Maithan police station arrested six hijackers from Kalyaneshwari in West Bengal on the trail of the kidnapped youth. Sanjay was brought by some people from Bihar to a hotel in Kalyaneshwari. During this, he somehow escaped and reached Maithon Dam on Monday morning and pleaded for help from the CISF personnel. The CISF personnel contacted Maithon police station and handed over the youth to them. Police later raided the Surya Hotel in Kalyaneshwari on Sanjay’s behest and arrested six people. These include Dinesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Subhash Prasad, Shashi Kumar and Ashutosh Kumar Singh and Anil Kumar residents of Gaya.

Those caught in the case deny the kidnapping and are talking about mutual transactions. Sanjay told that he was kidnapped from Kaimur in Bihar and brought to Kalyaneshwari, via Gumla in Jharkhand. SDPO Vijay Kumar Kushwaha said that prima facie the matter seems to be of mutual transaction. Police is making inquiries.
