Major fire accident in covishield vaccine maker serum institute factory

ire accident in serum factory: A huge fire broke out at the prestigious Covshield vaccine manufacturer, the Serum Institute. Large numbers of firefighters are battling the blaze.

Panic erupted as thick black smoke billowed from Gate No. 1 at the Serum Institute of India (Fire Accident in serum factory) in Serum Institute, India. Firefighters and natural disaster management forces rushed to the spot and put out the blaze.

The Prime Minister’s Office has inquired into the incident. The Serum Institute manufactures the Kovishield vaccine in India, manufactured by Oxford-Astrazeneca. Covishield vaccine is widely used in the ongoing vaccination program across the country. The cause of the accident is not yet clear. It is unknown at this time what caused the damage.
