West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee adopted a unique approach to counter the ever-increasing petrol and diesel prices in the country. Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal on Thursday rushed an electric scooter to the ministry to protest against the hike in petrol and diesel prices. Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakeem was driving an electric scooter with Mamata Banerjee sitting on it.
On the road to Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee was walking to the Secretariat where she was sitting on an electric scooter. The Battery-powered Electric Scoot was operated by Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakeem while Mamata Banerjee was sitting behind. This time both were wearing helmets.
