Soybean grain and loose and crude palm oil (CPO) prices have improved in the Delhi oil-oilseeds market on Thursday due to increased demand despite a quieter trend in overseas markets. On the other hand, soybean oil and cottonseed oil remained at a loss due to weak demand despite gaining half a cent on the Chicago Exchange.
According to sources, the supply of soybean grain plant in Maharashtra’s Latur fame has increased from 10,500 to 10,800 quintal (excluding GST), amid a shortage of fine grains. Because of this, soybean has improved in grain and loose prices. However, the price of refined soybean in the Indore edible oil market is Rs 5 per 10kg. On Thursday, the lens price at Indyogitganj Anaj Mandi in Indore was reduced by Rs 50 per quintal.

Traders said the Malaysian exchange was down 1.8 per cent, while the Chicago exchange was up by half. The CPO market rose after the Malaysia exchange downturn and recorded a return on demand. Soybean grain and soybean loose prices are showing improvement due to an increase in local demand for soybean oil loss oil (DOC). But despite the Chicago Exchange, soybean oil prices have fallen due to impact on demand.
