Former India batsman Mohammad Kaif praised Anil Kumble and wrote a special message for him on Twitter. In fact, the ICC shared a special video on Kumble’s social media account a few days ago while celebrating the Hall of Famer. In it, the ICC cited Kumble’s career achievements and the record he created. Kumble took 619 wickets in his Test career and 337 in ODIs.

Former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara also praised Kumble and said he was one of the bowlers who did not allow Sangakkara to sleep in his career. He said that scoring against Kumble is hard work and there is a lot of diversity in his bowling. Kumble is the highest wicket taker in India in Test cricket and the third highest wicket taker in world cricket. Muralitharan and Shane Warne are ahead of Kumble.
