The Bharatiya Janata Party has suspended the Jaitapur president from its primary membership for allegedly raping a 20-year-old girl at a farmhouse in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. Let me tell you that the police had said on Sunday that four people, including a BJP officer, were accused of mass rape.

Shahdol district BJP president Kamal Pratap Singh said that the name of Vijay Tripathi in the case of rape was immediately enforced by the president of the Jaitpur section and his party’s primary membership was canceled.

The girl was abducted by four men and taken to a farmhouse in Gadaghat area of the Jaitpur police station, where she demanded that the girl be drunk and behaved badly against her on February 18-19, said Additional Police Superintendent Mukesh Vaisya.

He said the accused fled after raping the girl in serious condition on February 20. Vaishaya said the victim filed a complaint against four people on Sunday.

She was first taken to Jaitapur Health Center where the woman was not healthy, and doctors took her to Shahdol District Hospital, she said. The four accused in the case were Vijay Tripathi, Munna Singh, Rajesh Shukla and Monu Maharaj. The four accused fled and police are looking for them, he said.

Meanwhile, Shahdol district BJP president Kamal Pratap Singh issued a statement saying that the matter was brought to the attention of the media as the case was registered against Mandal president BJP Jaitpur in Vijay Tripura. Workers who are involved in such heinous crimes and do so have no place in the BJP.
