The Priest is chanting manthras and takes the wedding chain to worship for it. Mayan is surprised and asks the priest to stop it. He asks him why he brought the wedding chain for the engagement. He replies that no one does homam during the engagement. Mayan gets angry and asks how dare he tell the marriage its all about the engagement lie. He’s asking Nachiyar what’s going on here? She is silent there. Mayap asks Aishu to get up from the mantapa. Wadivu stops him and tells him what’s wrong with getting married now.
They will get married together after the engagement, so it’s best to do it today. Mayan scolds her for cheating on everyone and tells Aishu to get up from the hall. He threatens the priest to stop the marriage. Vadivu tells him that he is not cheating on anyone who has already told Nachiyar. Everyone who was staring at her was shocked. What is Mayan asking her? Maha and Saranya also question her. She nods yes. Chidambaram tells his goons to stop the Maya. They come close to him. He kicked him in the chest and pushed him down. He warns them to be off limits.
Mayan asks Aishu to get up from Mayap. She did not pay attention to him but was staring at Nachiar. Muthuraj tells Mayan that he does not want to marry Gayatri but is ready to marry Aishu this time. Wadi asks the priest to initiate manthras. They are getting ready to bless the couple. Meanwhile Mayan asks Kathy to give him a knife, which he kills today.
Sharanya, Maha and Gayatri continue to appeal to Nachiyar to end the marriage. She stands there quietly. Aishu wants to study more but she remembers the words of Aishu’s friend to give up her dreams for Nachiyar. Muthuraj will tie the knot with Aishu. Kathy and Mayan send everyone that the marriage has been terminated. Wadivu tells Muthuraj to marry him. Mayan warns him to kill him if he dares to touch her. Mayan asks Saranya to take Aishu from there. Mayan teases Muttiraj that he is not lucky to marry anyone at this birth.
Gayatri tells Mayan that she is happy now because her mother has stopped the marriage. He stopped this marriage showing her father frame. Aishu asks Nachiyar why she stopped the marriage when she was ready to marry him. She replies that she does not want to kill her happiness for her own selfish purpose. Her daughter is important to her and her brother. It gives her the freedom to study longer.

They shared group hugs. The Mayan and Kathi Betting Chidambaram family leaves home or stays there. Wadivu gets there with luggage. Nachiyar apologizes to her but Chidambaram tells him that she has betrayed him, saying that he will leave the house with his family and not forget it.
