This feature protects users’ chat backups on Google Drive with a password that cannot be shared with Facebook, WhatsApp, Google or Apple. When users reinstall WhatsApp on the device, they are asked to type a registered passcode to decrypt it. End-to-end cryptocurrency is away from unauthorized access so no one can see its contents.
