TVS Motor, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, recently released a teaser of its passenger bike, Star City Plus. Today the company has officially launched the bike for sale in the market. Decorated with a very attractive appearance and strong engine power, the bike is priced at Rs 68,865. (Ex-showroom, Delhi) is allotted.
The company has made some technical changes to the new Star City Plus bike, available with the new red black dual tone paint. The bike is powered by EcoThurst Fuel Injection Technology (ET-Fi). The company claims that this technology will help the bike get better mileage. This bike offers 15 per cent more mileage than the previous model.
The bike also comes with LED headlamps and a USB charger. The bike is based on Star City +’s 15-year heritage, the company said. More than 30 lakh people have bought this bike so far. Due to its low price, low maintenance and good mileage, this bike is quite famous in its segment.
Engine capacity: At Star City Plus, the company used a 110 cc single cylinder fuel injection engine. It produces 8.08bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. This bike has a maximum speed of 90 km / h. It has a 4 speed gearbox.
The company has a telescopic fork on the front of the bike and a 5-degree adjustable shock on the rear. Tubeless tires are offered in 17-inch wheels. In its next cycle, the company has issued disc brakes and the rear wheel has drum brakes. Its new disc brake variant costs about Rs 2,600 more than the standard model. Its drum brake variant is priced at Rs 65,865.
