Punjab Kings batsman Nicholas Puran has decided to donate some Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 earnings to India struggling with the coronavirus epidemic. The number of Kovid-19 infections in India is steadily increasing and more than four lakh new cases are reported. Puran appealed to the people of India to get the vaccine as soon as possible.
In a video released on Twitter, Puran said, ‘If you can get the vaccine, please do it. I will do my part, in which I would like to donate a portion of my IPL salary to alleviate this crisis while continuing to pray for India. “The 25-year-old cricketer who represents the West Indies knows that the country’s health care system is struggling with this crisis.
While many countries are still affected by the epidemic, the situation in India is especially acute right now. I will do my part to bring awareness and financial support to this terrible situation.#PrayForIndia pic.twitter.com/xAnXrwMVTu
