Nitish Cabinet expansion: Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother to be sworn in as Minister, ‘Justice for SSR’

Neeraj Singh Bablu, cousin of Bollywood celebrity actor Sushant Singh Rajput, will be sworn in as Nitish’s cabinet minister on Tuesday. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput last year, Neeraj was the man who said it was not suicide. He also launched the ‘Justice for SSR’ campaign. Neeraj appears with his family on every occasion after Sushant’s death.

Neeraj has been attending the Bihar assembly for four consecutive terms. He began his political journey in 2005. He had then won the election from Raghopur and reached the assembly. He then contested from the Umburpur assembly seat in 2010, 2015 and 2020. Neeraj Bihar is one of the BJP’s biggest leaders.

Shahnawaz Hussein was one of the leaders to be sworn in from the BJP quota and minister in the Nitish Cabinet extension on Tuesday. A total of 17 ministers are expected to take the oath. Nine of them can take the oath of office from the BJP, eight from the JDU. At present, there are 13 ministers in the Nitish government apart from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Of these, four are JDU, seven are BJP, we have one minister each in the VIP quota. According to information received from the Raj Bhavan Ministry, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Raj Bhandra Rajendra Mandapam at 12.30 pm.
