Nitish Kumar said – Government sends proposal for census for caste, backward and very backward reservation in Bihar model

On the way to Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has demanded reservation for the backward and more backward in the central government. He said the next census in Bihar should be based on caste. The state government will send a proposal for this.

The Chief Minister was speaking to reporters on Wednesday at the JDU office premises. Answering journalists’ questions, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the reservation formula of Bihar should also be implemented at the Center. In Bihar, reservation has been made in OBCs by identifying OBCs. The first arrangement made by Karpuri Thakur’s government in the state is still in place today.

“We want Bihar’s reservation formula to be applied in the center too,” he said. In the center, only the backward classes are kept, while in Bihar reservation is being made for the backward classes. He said the reservation provisions already applicable in Kendra and Bihar should not be ruined.

If there is an evaluation, survey or debate, no one should be denied a reservation. Reservations are now being made on an economic basis. Non-Scheduled Castes and Tribes are also getting reservation. The question then arises as to whether the reservation should be rescinded or its provision amended. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also demanded a caste-based census. He said this was happening earlier. Here, this has not been happening for many years. Not only I, but the entire assembly and the moderate council have urged the central government to conduct a caste-based census. It must be done now. It is important that all people have the right information. It will know what to do for which species.

Earlier on Wednesday, UK spokesman for the Janata Dal, Ajay Alok, had said that no one in two generations should get a reservation. Responding to this, our national president and former chief minister, Jithan Ram Manchi, said, “We want to implement reservation in the private sector and the judiciary.”

It is stated on visa to send proposal to caste census

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in reply to the governor’s speech in the Bihar assembly, had earlier said he would send a proposal for census based on caste. He also supported the restoration of the old list of teachers in universities. He said both sides have opinions on both sides. The Chief Minister said that these are issues that should be taken out of the house and discussed together. Moreover, the proposal of the House should go to the Central Government. The previous provision should be that departmental appointments commenced after the Supreme Court ruling, that the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes candidates will suffer a great loss. The appointment of teachers by the Public Service Commission in Bihar is being done only under the old list and the old process, he said.

CM Nitish, who supported the caste reservation, said the reservation limit for backward or scheduled caste tribes will not be increased till the caste-based census is conducted. After caste census, a rule should be made that the reservation will be made according to the population in the whole country. The Chief Minister said that 10 per cent reservation has been given to people belonging to the class who are not reserved on economic grounds. No one should object to this. This is not an intervention on anyone’s reservation. Giving the benefit of a separate reservation.
