Nothing Year 1 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones have been launched in India. None is a new UK-based electronics brand owned by OnePlus co-founder Carl Peay. Nothing Year 1 has released the first wireless earphones in the company. The design of these earbuds is quite unique, and no such design has been found on any earbuds yet. Nothing Year 1 Original Wireless Earphone has been released for Rs 5,999. The price of Nothing Year 1 is more affordable in India than the global market. In the US, they cost $ 99 (approx. Rs. 7,400) in the UK, GBP99 (approx. Rs. 10,200), and Euro 99 in Europe (approx. Rs. 8,700). Genuine wireless earphones are going to take on brands like Oppo, Sony, Samsung and Anchor Soundcore in India’s mid-range real wireless segment. However, the premium features and design help Nothing Year 1 stand out in this crowded segment. Nothing Year 1 will go on sale in India from August 17 via Flipkart.

The design of these earphones is transparent. Its case is also transparent. In these earphones, you see a charging indicator light that is visible from the outside when closed. Speaking of charging, the Nothing Year 1 Case supports USB Type-C and Q wireless charging modes. The earpieces are magnetically coupled to the case to draw energy from the battery. The battery life of these earbuds is 5.7 hours and is said to last a total of 34 hours. According to the company, fast charging via USB Type-C can see up to 8 hours of playback on a 10-minute charge.

Nothing earns Year 1 Active Noise Cancellation feature. The transparency mode on it can easily be used to hear surrounding sounds. The Nothing Year 1 comes with playback, noise cancellation and transparency modes, and touch controls for easy control of volume. The company has also created an app to use and customize controls and other features. The app comes with features like equalizer settings, fast alignment and firmware updates and ear detection. Nothing Year 1 is capable of providing a smooth and secure connection via Bluetooth 5.2.
