OnePlus 3 year old smartphone gets a big update, many good features

Good news for OnePlus users. OnePlus has begun releasing the Android 11 update for its OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. Both the smartphones launched in 2018 received a stable Android 11 update ahead of their schedule. The company began testing the first beta of Oxygen OS 11 in July this year. The smartphones have since received 2 consecutive beta updates.

Both phones come with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system
It’s about getting out step by step. The rollout will be limited to a limited number of users on August 12, and will be rolled out in the next few days, when the company is certain that no critical error has been found.
