Good news for OnePlus users. OnePlus has begun releasing the Android 11 update for its OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones. Both the smartphones launched in 2018 received a stable Android 11 update ahead of their schedule. The company began testing the first beta of Oxygen OS 11 in July this year. The smartphones have since received 2 consecutive beta updates.
Both phones come with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system

The rollout will be limited to a limited number of users on August 12, and will be rolled out in the next few days, when the company is certain that no critical error has been found. After receiving the Android 11 update, OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users get new features such as the default screen recorder, better media control, native smart home control, and one-time permissions for apps.
