Pakistan felt cheated – China did not fund any project at CPEC

Pakistan, which allowed China to use its land against India, is now deceived. Pakistan has said that China has not funded any infrastructure projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative. This information is claimed by the Senate Special Committee on CEC Plans.

According to a report by The Express Tribune, Senate Sikander Mandru, Transport Planning Head of Pakistan’s Planning Ministry, said that some projects, including the Khuzdar-Basima project, were funded by the Federal Fund. CPEC Grants.

Meanwhile, committee member Senator Kabir Ahmad Shahi said the paperwork was only done at the CPEC. “The project began with a watchman installing a tent. The fence around New Gwadar International Airport is a dilapidated building,” he said. Moreover, the projects have not been launched under the Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan.

Let me tell you, in 2015 China announced a 46 billion USD economic plan in Pakistan under the CPEC. Beijing aims to expand its influence in Pakistan and Central and South Asia to counter the influence of the United States and India.

The CPEC connects Pakistan’s southern Gwadar port (626 kilometers, 389 miles west of Karachi) to the western Xinjiang region of China in the Arabian Sea. It includes plans to build road, rail and oil pipeline connections to improve connectivity between China and the Middle East.
