Pakistan finally admits that Dawood Ibrahim is in Karachi

Pakistan has finally included the name of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in the list of terrorist organizations and their leaders. Pakistan had been claiming that Dawood was not with them for many years till now.

But today, they have finally added the name of Dawood Ibrahim to the list of terrorist organizations and leaders. Pakistan has shown that it has taken this step to save itself from being blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force.

A notification issued by the Pakistani government said Dawood’s address was the White House near Clifton, a Saudi mosque in Karachi. Pakistan has imposed sanctions on 88 terrorist organizations and their leaders.

It includes the name of David. The inclusion of Dawood’s name and address in the sanctions list means that Pakistan has to admit that the main accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts are living here.

India has so far targeted Pakistan on various global platforms for harboring the D-Gang leader. The FATF has a keen eye on countries that fertilize terrorism through money and other means. Pakistan has taken action to get out of the gray list of this organization.

Pakistan has also imposed sanctions on Hafeez Saeed and Masood Azhar. The Paris-based FATF added Pakistan to its gray list in June 2018. The 88 organizations banned by Pakistan include a number of anti-India terrorists and organizations.
