pakistan pm imran khan special assistant shahbaz gill says nawaz sharif has link with narendra modi and sajjan jindal – pakistan

Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Political Assistant of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has accused former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and businessman Sajjan Jindal. Accusing Nawaz Sharif of opening a front against the army’s interference in politics, Gill said that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif is targeting the army because the army asked him for links with Modi and Jindal and for seditious activities did.

Gill also alleged that Sharif and his government were not ready to announce the arrest of Kulbhushan Jadhav. (Retd.) Lieutenant General Aseem Salim Bajwa tried hard to convince the Nawaz Sharif government, because its declaration from the army sent a message that the government of Pakistan was not in it.

Gill, while addressing the press conference, said, “When you do anti-Pakistan activities like this, questions will be asked and answers will be sought. Alleging love and condolences with the Indian leadership, Gill said that whenever the army questioned the former Prime Minister about the secret business deal with India and other seditious activities, he confronted them in a similar manner.

Referring to the book by Indian journalist Barkha Dutt, Gill said that Nawaz Sharif had a secret meeting with Modi in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. He said that during that time the PM had ordered Pakistani diplomats not to make any statement against India. Gill said, “Nawaz Sharif had met Modi and Jindal in private, bypassing defense institutions.” When he was questioned, he started targeting the army and started raising slogans of democracy.

Significantly, Pakistan’s opposition parties have announced a grand alliance against the army and Imran Khan’s government. Nearly all opposition leaders of the country, including Nawaz Sharif, have formed a common platform, saying that they want to end military interference with politics. The Imran government, called the military’s coalition, is trying to prove the restless and Nawaz Sharif traitors.
