Rahul was hospitalized following the pain of the appendix and was replaced by Mayank Agarwal as the leader. After the defeat against the Delhi Capitals, he said, “It would have been nice if we had got two points in this game, but we scored less than 10 runs and then lost the way they batted in the powerplay.” Regarding his batting, he said, ‘Any batsman has to stick to the end and that’s my plan. Today was my day and I took on this responsibility. Unfortunately we were unable to score much runs in the middle overs. We need to focus on doing better in the next game.
