PCB President Ehsan Mani said the T20 World Cup will be held in the UAE

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Ehsan Mani has made a big statement about the upcoming T20 World Cup. He said the T20 World Cup will be played in the UAE instead of India this year. IPL 2021 was postponed after the corona case emerged in the IPL Bio Bubble. The remaining IPL 14 matches will be held in the UAE in the September-October window. In the aftermath of the Kovid 19 situation in India, the T20 World Cup organization is in danger but no decision has been taken by the International Cricket Council.

The ICC has given BCCI time till June 28 to host the T20 World Cup. At a recent SGM meeting, the BCCI sought more time from the ICC to take a decision on hosting the T20 World Cup, which was approved. BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla has already said that if Kovid’s 19 situation improves by the end of the year, India will play host.
Otherwise the UAE is another option.

Ehsan Mani told News.com, “The ICC T20 World Cup in India will now be held in the UAE. We have two options for organizing matches. This is a good time for us and for that reason we have decided to organize the PSL in Abu Dhabi. “

The PCB president said that organizing the T20 World Cup in India is risky and the safety of all stakeholders is their priority. Expanding his view, he said that it is very difficult to organize cricket matches these days. All the cricket boards are making adjustments at this time and the PCB has done the same. We cannot take any risk. The safety and security of players and officials is our top priority.
