The Indian Premier League (IPL) team has teamed up with Punjab Kings Private Limited Round Table India (RTI) and people-funded platform KITO.ORG to provide oxygen to Kovid-19 sufferers. The IPL franchise has reported that Punjab Kings will provide funds to purchase oxygen concentrates. These oxygen concentrators are then made available to patients.

It says, ‘RTI checks which patient is given oxygen concentrations at home or through a charitable organization. Upon return, the concentration is swapped and disinfected before the concentration is delivered to the next patient. ‘Accordingly, “after recovering from the crisis, these machines will be donated to hospitals where they are needed for asthma and respiratory patients.”

A day before the noble cause of Punjab to help people suffering from the Kovid-19 pandemic, the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) announced the donation of 2,000 oxygen concentrators. In addition, Indian cricket star all-rounders Hardik and Krunal Pandya have sent new cargoes of oxygen concentrators to their respective centers. Earlier this month, the two brothers announced that their entire family would donate 200 oxygen concentrators to fight the epidemic in rural areas of the country.
