Rajasthan Panchayat Committee Election: BJP wins 1360 and Congress 1247

The counting of panchayat committee members and zilla parishad members in 21 districts of Rajasthan began in four phases, which continued till late at night. The BJP has so far won the elections in the panchayat committee members, but the vote count is still ongoing. So far, the BJP has managed to win 1360 candidates, while the Congress has won 1247.

According to the State Election Commission, 335 candidates have managed to win independents and the National Democratic Party (RLP) has won 54 candidates. The result will continue until 10 pm. Following this, the selection of the Chief and District Heads will be held on December 10 and the Deputy Chief and Deputy District Heads will be held on December 11.

It should be mentioned that 4371 Panchayat Sati and 636 members of Zilla Parishad were voted in four phases on November 23, November 27, December 1 and December 5 in four phases in 21 districts of the state. The remaining 12 districts are still awaiting the release of the Panchayat Committee and Zilla Parishad members.

Ajmer, Bhilwara, Banswara, Barmer, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalor, Hala Laver, Unumhunu, Nagaur, Pali, Pratamandar, 21 districts and 33 districts of the state. In view of Bharat Bandha, adequate security arrangements were made in the count of the members of the Council and the Panchayat Committee.
