Police have found a video of a 30-year-old girl being raped and murdered in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. Local people made the video when they were taken to the hospital after the accused was shot. Currently, the accused is out of jail in Bell. “We have captured the video and will present it as evidence,” said Bikaner Range Police IG Praful Kumar.
In this video of one minute and 27 seconds, a local man is listening to the victims who shot at her and she is referring to the main accused. She says she (the main accused) first called me and then pressured me to withdraw the case. When I refused, he slapped me. After this, when I refused again, he put a burning object on me and set it on fire.
The girl lived in her grandmother’s house, police said. The accused Pradeep Bishnoi was assaulted on Thursday. He suffered 90 percent burns and died Friday. Bishnoi is accused of raping a girl in 2018 and has since been out on bail.
The two men were arrested by police on Saturday. Police fear that there may be many more accused in the case. Another suspect was found near the victim’s home on CCTV. Bikaner Rage Police IG said they are establishing a relationship between the victim and the suspect.
