Preparations for the prestigious aerospace and defense demonstration Aero India-2121 have been completed. The launch of the air show at the Air Force Airport in Bengaluru will start on Wednesday and last for three days. It will be the world’s first hybrid aerospace display. In it, experienced fighter planes, including Indian fighter aircraft LCA-Tejas and American supersonic bombers, show their power through direct and virtual means.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa attended the Aero India Show 2021 in Bangalore, Karnataka. The event runs from today until February 5th.

– HAL 83 New Local Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) – Tejas MK1A has been purchased by the Indian Air Force for Rs 48,000 crore. This is the largest “Make in India” defense deal.

Here, Rajanath said in his speech that despite the disruption caused by the global epidemic, I am delighted to see such a large number of participants at this year’s event. Aero India 21 showcases India’s immense potential and diverse opportunities in the field of defense and aerospace in our country.

The 13th edition of the air show, which takes place every two years, will see the impact of ‘Self-Help India Campaign’ and ‘Make in India’. A delegation of 14 countries and companies will participate. Don Hefflin will represent the American delegation and defense industry.

American bombers will be the main attraction:

One of the highlights of the flight display was the US Air Force’s supersonic bomber B-1B Lancer, presenting the ‘fly boy’. Surya Kiran aircraft and India’s Sarang helicopters will showcase their techniques. A total of 41 aircraft of the Indian Air Force, including Tejas, Raphael and Sukhoi-30s, will be on display. Another highlight of the air show was the American Air Force Band. Its name is the US Air Force Band of the Pacific, based in Hawaii. Indian Ghattigar Artist Girighar Udupa will be performing the art.

523 companies to be added:

523 Indian companies will participate in the air show. During this period, HAL will operate a self-sufficient aircraft. During this time the LCA trainer will fly the HTT-40, the IJT Advanced Hawk MK132 and the Civil Do-228. The Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv, Light Combat Helicopter, Light Utility Helicopter will also be displayed.

DRDO Shows Power:

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will showcase its modern defense technology and systems. It includes airborne early warning and control (AEW & C) systems, advanced middle combat aircraft (MICA), high speed expandable aerial targets. In addition, it showcases the Nirbhay missile, the P-16 heavy drop system, the pilot-less target aircraft engine and the Astra missile.
