Former Australian spin bowler Brad Hogg believes Ravichandran Ashwin’s bowling is getting better with his age and he can take more than 600 wickets in Test cricket. Hogg said Ashwin had the power to break the record of 800 Test wickets by Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. Hogg described Ashwin as the world’s best off-spinner of all time and said he has worked hard on his game the last few times.

Speaking to Times Now, Brad Hogg said, “Ashwin is now in his 34th year.” I think he will play test cricket until he is 42 years old. I think his batting has decreased over time, but he has been very lethal with the ball. I see them taking at least 600 Test wickets. He may also break Muttiah Muralitharan’s record. As a cricketer, I think of him as very powerful because of his hunger and his art to suit every situation. He played county cricket to understand the conditions of England and he has been very successful in the last few years.
