RBSE Rajasthan Board 8, 9 and 11 Exam: The Rajasthan Proud Secondary Board of Education (RBSE) has now decided to cancel the 8th standard board exam and encourage students to take the exam without taking the exam. About 22 lakh students will be compensated by the Rajasthan government’s decision.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Minister of Education Govind Singh Dotasara on Wednesday. According to the Rajasthan Board, students in grades 8, 9 and 11 will be promoted to their next classes. At the beginning of last month, a decision was taken to encourage students from grades 1 to 7 to take the exam.
The government has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th standard exams. Minister of Education Dotasaara pointed out that the board exams for Class 10 and 12 should also be postponed due to the current status of Corona (COVID-19). After 15-20 days, the situation can be considered better when tests are performed.
The decision was taken after discussions with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara.
