REET 2020-2021: Even those with a B.Ed degree will be able to apply for the REET first stage

In view of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REIT), to be held on April 25, the Rajasthan High Court has given a big relief to BED graduates. The High Court has also directed that BED graduates can apply for the REIT 2020 Level-1, which is scheduled for recruitment of third-grade teachers. However, whether they are eligible for appointment or not depends on the final decision of the application. The next hearing of the case is scheduled for March 1.

Following a court order, the deadline to apply for the writ has been extended to February 20. Let us tell you that over 13 lakh students have applied for the RAIT exam so far. The number of applicants will definitely increase after the first stage B.Ed.

BED qualifiers who have applied for Level-2 will have to pay a fee difference of Rs 200. You can revise your registration for both levels by placing a deposit. Let us know that so far 13.80 lakh registrations have been made for REIT.

The NCTE has issued a circular dated 28 June 2018 to make BED Degree holders eligible for Grade-III recruitment, according to the petitioners. After the appointment, it is stipulated that the B.Ed graduate will have to take a 6 month bridge course. The state government invited applications for REIT 2020, but this prevented them from applying for BED Degree in Level-I, which is contrary to the NCTE Circular.
