REIT 2020: Two good news about the REIT exam for young people in Rajasthan

There are two good news for the youth of the state before the Rajasthan REIT notification is released. The first news is that the number of teachers employed by RIIT can increase to 31000. The Department of Education has sanctioned one thousand new posts of third-grade teachers in 282 government schools in the state. A few days ago, these schools were upgraded from Government Upper Primary School to Government Secondary School. The department has sanctioned 407 Level-1 and 564 Level-2 posts in these schools. In such a situation, it is being said that these additional appointments can be eliminated with 31,000 appointments.

The relief news is that preparations are underway to set the pattern of reat testing in a way that will benefit the young people of Rajasthan. Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara said the Rajasthan Board has been instructed to align the question of geography of Rajasthan and art culture of Rajasthan following the NCTE guidelines in two respects. The preparation of the common knowledge test in Rajasthan will greatly benefit the youth of the state.

The notification will be released soon
According to media reports, the Rajasthan Board (RBSE) has prepared the notification of REET 2020-2021 and sent it for approval by the state government.

Reduced graduation weight points
Now there is a huge relief in the weight of marks in the Reit Teacher Eligibility Test. In Reit’s final exam, 90 per cent will be based on the exam, while the degree score will be reduced to 10 per cent. Previously, RIT was selected based on 70 per cent examination and 30 per cent of graduates. There was a demand to reduce the weight of graduation marks in the long run.
Dotasara said, “The wattage system was 70-30 during the previous government. It was amended to 90-10.”

5 to 20 percent of the eligibility scores rest
Earlier on Thursday, the Department of Education announced discounts on the Reit Teacher Eligibility Test for the various departments. Many classes were exempted from eligibility scores. According to the order, the reserved categories will receive a discount of 5 to 20 percent of the eligibility points. The minimum pass scores for the various categories in REET are set as follows.

General / Unreserved – 60 points (TSP and non-TSP)
Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 55 (Non-TSP), 36 (TSP)
Scheduled Caste (SC), OBC, MBC and Economic Vulnerable Sector – 55 points (TSP and non TSP)
Widows and Abandoned Women and Ex-servicemen of all classes – 50 points (TSP and Non TSP)
Divyang – 40 points (TSP and non TSP)
Saharia Tribe – 36 points (TSP and Non TSP)
