Ford, the leading automaker in the US, today announced the launch of its famous hatchback Ford Figo in the Indian market with a new automatic transmission gearbox. Decorated with attractive looks and strong engine power, the car is priced at Rs 7.75 lakh. (Ex-showroom) is scheduled.
The company has introduced this automatic variant with two trims – Titanium and Ford Figo’s Titanium Plus. Its Titanium variant is priced at Rs 7.75 lakh. And the price of the Titanium Plus variant is Rs 8.20 lakh. In this car, the company used a 1.2-liter capacity TVCT petrol engine, which comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine produces 96 PS and 119 Nm of torque.
Ford claims that this car is the best combination of power and performance. This is given the same gearbox found in the Ford EcoSport SUV. It also has a special sport mode that the youngsters love so much, which makes the driving experience even better. The company claims that the car delivers mileage of up to 16 kilometers.
The Figo hatchback comes with a 3 year or 100,000 km warranty. The car receives a service interval of up to 10,000 kilometers compared to other competing models of 5,000 kilometers. Customers will pay Rs 1,313 for the first year, 100,000 km or Rs 4,097 for 10 years of service for this car.
