Renault Kiger: India’s cheapest sub-compact SUV is expensive, know how expensive it is

Renault, France’s leading automaker, recently launched its new SUV Renault Kiger in the Indian sub-compact segment. Decorated with attractive looks and strong engine capabilities, this SUV is the cheapest in the segment. But now the company has decided to increase the price of this SUV.

This SUV is available with two petrol engine options. Its 1.0-liter Natural Aspirated engine produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. At the same time, its turbo engine produces 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque. The SUV is available with both manual and automatic transmission gearboxes.

Renault Kiger is available in the Indian market in total trim including RNXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ. The company has not changed the price of its original RXE variants, which is just Rs 5.45 lakh as before. At the same time, the price of the manual RXL variants has been increased by Rs.

Its automatic transmission variant is available in three trims. The RXL variants are priced at Rs 23,000, the RXT variants are increased by Rs 25,000 and the RX Z variants by Rs 19,000. In addition, the RXL variants of the 1.0-liter turbo petrol have been increased to Rs 28,000, the RXT variants to Rs 30,000 and the RX Z variants to Rs 24,000. No changes in the price of its CVT transmission model.
