Renault Kiger outperformed Nissan Magnite for sale; The SUV is on sale in a month

The compact SUV segment is becoming increasingly popular in the Indian market. Recently, Renault and Nissan released their most affordable SUV models, the Kiger and Magnite. In a very short time, both these SUVs have gained immense popularity among consumers, but Nissan has outperformed the Magnite in terms of sales.

According to reports, last March, Renault sold a total of 3,839 units of its famous SUV Kiger, but only 2,987 units of Nissan Magnite during this period. The Nissan Magnite was launched in December last year, and has been on the market for a long time, compared to the Kiger. Despite this, it is still lagging behind in sales.

Please tell us that both SUVs are built on the ‘CMF-A +’ platform, so their engine is the same. However, there is a slight difference in features besides the exterior and interior design, which makes these two SUVs different from each other. So let’s know what’s special in these two SUVs –

Renault Kiger:

This SUV is available in 5 variants with dual tone color option. This SUV comes with two petrol engines, a variant of which is offered by the company’s 1.0 liter capacity natural aspirated engine. It produces 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. In the second variant, the company is offering a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque.

Features: The company has also added new and modern features in this SUV. It will get features such as 7-inch digital instrument cluster, LED projector headlamp, cruise control, steering mounted control, voice recognition technology, push button start and stop and automatic climate control with 8-inch touch screen infotainment system.

Price: 5.72 lakh to Rs 9.72 lakh
Mileage: 17 to 20 kilometers per liter

Nissan Magnet

Nissan Magnet:

The company also used the same engine you found on the Renault Kiger. Available in a total of five variants, this SUV also features a 5-person seating system. Initially, the company launched it at an introductory price, but has now increased its price.

Features: The car was tested by ASEAN NCAP and was rated 4 Star. Nissan Magnet is built on the CMF-A modular platform designed under the Renault and Nissan specifications. It features 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 16 dual tone alloy wheels, air purifiers, wireless charger, ambient lighting, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD).

Price: 5.59 lakh to Rs 10 lakh
Mileage: From 17.7 km to 20.0 km per liter.
