Punjab:

The Punjab government has once again issued a new policy to start schools from October 15. It has been suggested that classes for 9th to 12th grade classes should only be held and not more than 20 students per class.

Uttar Pradesh:

The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced on October 10 that it will open a school for students in grades 9 to 12 from October 19,2020.

Chhattisgarh:

The state government has decided not to start schools and colleges. State governments have made it clear that school will be decided after Diwali.

Meghalaya:

The Meghalaya government has requested that parents express their views before making a final decision on school reopening. Education Minister Lah Men Rimbai said the state government has decided to resume classes 6th, 7th and 8th.

Gujarat:

School and college have decided not to start. State governments have made it clear that school will be decided after Diwali.

Andhra Pradesh:

The Andhra Pradesh government said the decision was taken not to start schools and colleges before November 2,2020.

West Bengal:

Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, made it clear that a decision on the school and college will be taken in November.

Maharashtra:

School and college have decided not to start. State governments have made it clear that school will be decided after Diwali.
