Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 is back on the television screens on popular demand. Producers announced a second season after Yasaraj Mukate’s parody video of one of the scenes going viral. Now the makers have released a new promo, which shows Kokilaben played by Rupaul Patel, recreating the Rasod Mae Koun Tha Tha scene again.

The promo opens with Gopi Bahu (Devolina Bhattacharjee) standing in the middle of Komalben’s living room. Soon, all the members of the house will also gather in the living room. She asks everyone, “Is Prasad Kisne Bana? (Who prepared the prasada) ”Sneha Jain, who manages the household help named Gehna, claims to have made Prasada. Then Kokila asks if he has put pure ghee, jaggery, coconut milk, poha, cardamom and egg in Prasada. Gehna says yes to all the ingredients except the egg. Kokila tells everyone that an egg was found in Prasad. Then Kokila asked in a loud voice, “Gehna jab rasood se bahar gai thi to rasod may koun tha.”

Prior to that, the makers had announced the comeback of the show with Promo, which is based on the viral Rasode May Koun tha scene. In the video, Gopi walks around the house and looks for Gehna. The cooker whistles in the kitchen and says, “Shayad Rasod Me Gehna ne Cooker Gas Pe Chadha Dia Hoga (Gehna probably put the cooker on the stove).

Devolina Gopi has reprized the role, while Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 stars Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar as the lead actors. Speaking about his return to the show, Devolina Pinkvilla said in an interview, “It’s about continuing your own brand, like doing superstars Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar respectively. It’s more about entertaining fans. As an actor, I’m always ready for it.
