Sainik School Admission 2021: NTA extends deadline to apply for AISSSE

The deadline to apply for the Sainik School Admission Test (AISCE – All India Sainik Schools Admission Test) has been extended. Previously it was 19 November 2020 but now it has been increased to 3 December 2020. Through this admission test, admission will be taken in the 6th and 9th grades for the academic session of 2021-22 in various military schools.

The admission test will be held on January 10, 2021 at all 33 psychiatric schools in the country. The test will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

How to apply
The NTA has issued the notification for the exam on the official website of the Sainik School Admission Test, aissee.nta.nic.in. The examination fee for SC and ST candidates is Rs 400 and for the rest Rs 550.

Age limit
In order to gain admission to 6th grade Sainik schools, the student age must be 10 to 12 years by March 31, 2021. All Psychic Schools for Girls have the opportunity of enrolling only in 6th grade.

In order to gain admission to Class 9, the student age must be 13 to 15 years by March 31, 2021. At the time of admission, the student must pass class 8 from an accredited school.
