SBI alert! Money is frozen if there is no Aadhaar linked to the account

If you are a customer of State Bank of India and your account is in any branch of the country’s largest bank, immediately link it with your Aadhaar card, otherwise you may run into trouble. If you want to take advantage of any government scheme or have some kind of subsidy in your account, you need to link to your Aadhaar account otherwise you can transfer your money, ”SBI tweeted. Explain that you can link your bank account with offline and online methods. You can use these methods to link SBI’s savings account to a savings account.

The first way

  • You should go to the bank’s website bank.sbi or www.sbi.co.in
  • Click on the main page banner Link your Aadhaar number with your bank.
  • Follow the rules shown on the screen to add your Aadhaar number.
  • The status of the mapping will be informed to your registered mobile number.

Another way

  • Login to SBI Internet Banking Portal www.onlinesbi.com
  • Here you can go to “Link your Aadhaar number” under “My Accounts”.
  • Now select the account number on the next page, enter the Aadhaar number and click Submit
  • The status of the mapping will be informed to your registered mobile number.

Third way

If you don’t use Net Banking, you can go to the bank and link the account with Aadhaar. Here you need to provide a photo copy of your Aadhaar. Along with this, also carry a passbook. Now you have to submit the form by filling it out. When your account is linked to Aadhaar, you will be notified by sending an SMS from the bank. If your Aadhaar and bank-issued mobile numbers are different, please do not link.

The fourth way

  • SBI account holders can link the account to Aadhaar from the app
  • Open the SBI Anywhere Personal Mobile App, click ‘Request’
  • Select the Aadhaar option, the ‘Aadhaar linking’ option
  • Then select the CIF number from the dropdown menu
  • Enter your Aadhaar number and confirm, confirm, read and tick the terms and conditions
  • Click the Submit button and you will get a message that your Aadhaar number is linked to a bank account
  • Click OK to complete the process
