The Ministry of Education today issued a guideline on the number of schools being started in the midst of increasing coronavirus in the country.

  Release of new roadmap for school commencement

Here are brief highlights of the roadmap published by the Department of School Education and Literacy on the reopening of schools in line with the Unlock-5 Guidelines issued on September.

What’s in the Roadmap ?:

* Only students with predominantly parental consent can attend school.

* Cleanliness in school should be given priority

* Disinfectant should be sprayed in schools and school premises.

* There should be a chance to play air on the school premises.

* Checking cleanliness in schools.

* Emergency units should be opened in schools.

* Each school should publish its own new schedule

* Children / students must wear mask in class

* There should be a gap between when students are sitting.

* Each school should publish its own guidelines.

* Must be sanitized frequently in schools.

* Doctors must be compulsory or appropriate in all schools.

* Do not give homework for two to three weeks at school.

* Some other schools are conducting online classes which will continue.
