Due to the increasing corona case, all schools in UP will now be closed until May 15. During this time, teachers and other staff can be called as needed. Previously, the Uttar Pradesh government had postponed high school and inter-school examinations till May 20 in view of coronavirus infection. University exams are also postponed to May 15. Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma gave the keynote address at the Rohilkhand University conference. Earlier schools were closed until April 30, which has now been extended to May 15.
The night curfew has been extended from 8 am to 7 pm in 10 districts including Lucknow, Prayagaraj, Varanasi, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad with over 2000 cases of COVID. Schools will be closed until May 15: State Government
