Second phase of Oxford’s Kovid-19TK human trial begins in Pune

On one hand, while the corona virus is rapidly killing people, on the other hand, the country is going through many vaccine trials. The Human Trial of the Corona Vaccine prepared by the Serum Institute operates in 17 locations in India.

Maharashtra Minister Dr. Vishwajit Kadam said on Wednesday, 5 volunteers have been given the first dose of Corona vaccine at the Bharti Hospital in Pune. He will be under medical supervision for the next two months.

Whereas, the medical director of Bharti Vidyapeeth Medical Hospital said, Bharti Hospital is one of the four centers in Pune. Yesterday, corona test of 5 volunteers was done, out of which two people who came negative were trialled today.

He further said, all instructions have been given to both volunteers. The second and third phase will end in the next three months. The vaccine will arrive by the end of the year or next year.
