Sensex crosses 500,000, Nifty surges 115 points – Reliance and ONGC fall

Today, the stock market got off to a strong start on Thursday, the fourth trading day of the week. The BSE Sensex traded up 347.94 points, or 0.70 percent, at 50,009.70. At the same time, the Nifty was trading at 14,934.55 with an increase of 1150 points, or 0.78 per cent.

In the Sensex, Reliance, Dr. Reddy, Bajaj Auto, ONGC are all red, but everyone else is green. Tech Mahindra, TCS, HDFC, Titan, Infosys, PowerGrid, ATC and Maruti are trading strongly.

The stock market closed the green mark yesterday

Yesterday, the positive impact of the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Monetary Policy Committee announcement was seen in the stock market. The stock market closed the green mark on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week. The BSE Sensex rose 460.37 points, or 0.94 per cent, to close at 49661.76. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 14819.05 with a gain of 135.55 points or 0.92 percent.
