Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni appeared on the field a long time ago on Monday. The stadium was not cricket or football but was accompanied by Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Bollywood’s Shreyas Iyer and Mahi Vij, Ranveer Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. All these big names were seen participating in the All Stars Football Practice match in Bandra, Mumbai. Shreyas shared some pictures of the event, titled Playing for Humanity, on his Instagram, with Virat Kohli, the general captain of the Indian team, responding with a funny comment.

The Shriyas are working to fit the UAE leg of the IPL 2021 and have started their training. Iyer, who led the Delhi Capitals to the final of the IPL last year, started training at Mumbai’s indoor BKC facility five days ago with team assistant coach Praveen Amre. Earlier this month, Iyer was dropped by the Lancashire squad for the Royal London ODI Cup due to injury.
