Former Sri Lanka World Cup winning skipper Arjuna Ranatunga has objected to the second-team squad on the tour and said it was a shame to play with a second-class team. However, now Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has broken the silence and responded to Ranatunga’s words. Of the 20 players sent by India, 14 have represented their country in three formats, the SLC said.
