Sonali, who is a four-time TMC MLA, will join the BJP and the ticket is being slashed – if Mamata Deedi can leave me, why not me?

Shortly before the West Bengal elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s troubles were mounting. Trinamool Congress MLA Sonali Guha, who is upset over the TMC’s candidacy list, will join the Indian National Party by taking a tough stance. Sonali Guha, a four-time legislator of South 24 Parganas, said if Mamata Deedi can leave me, why can’t I leave her?

Sonali Guha, who was once a close aide to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and a four-time legislator of the party, began to cry when she was told she was not ticketed. “I will speak with Mukul Roy, the national vice president of the BJP and decide the future strategy of his party,” said Satyagachchi MLA Guha.

Sonali Guha said my utility in TMC may be empty … my phone is switched off all night. The night before that, I was waiting for Didi’s phone, and Mug didn’t even talk to him once. Why didn’t they give me a ticket and under what circumstances my name was cut, at least they should tell them once. I don’t care. But that didn’t take me to confidence.

“I will now give my 100% to the BJP as I did to the TMC,” Sonali said. I will not contest this time, but I would like to work for a new party (BJP). Where do I need it, I go to the BJP campaign. I was with Mamata Banerjee from the beginning but now I have to think about my political future.

Guha said, “As a political figure, I want a respectable position.” He said that Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee’s personal aide and electoral technician Prashant Kishore’s representatives were contacted on Saturday morning. But no one has contacted the Trinamool Congress camp.

“I have already informed the callers that they have already started a debate with the BJP,” said Sonali Guha. He said he would make a 100 per cent contribution to the new party (BJP), which had previously worked for the Trinamool Congress. Guha said, ‘I don’t compete this time but I want to work for my new party. I told him (Mukul Roy) that I would go to publicity wherever my service was needed.

Meanwhile, apart from Guha, many other lawmakers and Trinamool Congress leaders have also contacted her since Friday evening, Roy said. Mamata Banerjee on Friday released a list of party candidates for the state’s 291 Assembly seats. Many Trinamool Congress MLAs, MPs and several leaders have already joined the BJP. (Input Agencies)
