Bangalore: The second session of the Sensory E-Class Course will commence from October 12 on the backdrop of Kovid, said Primary and Secondary Education Minister SB Dissanayake. Suresh Kumar said.
During this period, video lessons for students of grades 5, 6 and 7 in First Language Kannada, Second Language English, Third Language Hindi, Kannada Medium, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences are broadcast on DSERT Jnanadeepa and Makkalavani Youtube channels. In the meantime, these classes will also be replayed on the television channel.
School activities should begin in the academic year 2020-21, but the current spread of Kovid-19 is not possible. In this backdrop, the current television channel will be broadcasting video lessons to 8th to 10th grade students in the first phase of the program every day at 4am, he said.
Teachers, Officers and Staff of all levels of the Department have been instructed to monitor and watch the children on YouTube. Suresh Kumar urges parents to encourage children to watch the lesson.
