In support of the 16-point demands, the CPIM District Committee on Wednesday staged a one-day dharna at the subdivision office premises as part of a nationwide program. The nationwide program started in the procession from the CPIM office complex at Gandhi Maidan. The procession of the activists reached the sub-divisional office premises from Subhash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk via the party office. Where the assembly was transformed.
