Supreme Court says – The government should consider continuing the leave of doctors engaged in corona duty for 8 months

The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked the central government to consider giving leave to doctors who have been on duty for Kovid-19 for the past seven to eight months. The court stated that continued work can affect the physician’s mental health.

Justice Ashok Bhushan’s bench has asked the Center to consider this in the course of proceedings in hospitals for the automatic treatment of Kovid-19 patients and their honorable treatment with dead bodies. Justice Solicitor General Tushar Mehta has been asked to consider leave counseling for doctors. Mehta assured the tribunal that the government would consider the tribunal’s advice to grant some leave to health workers who are engaged in Kovid-19 duty.

The jury has told Mehta – these doctors have not been given a single break for the past seven-eight months and they are constantly working. Get directions and think about giving them a little break. It is very painful and it affects their mental health as well. The Supreme Court has been surprised that the Gujarat government has imposed a fine of Rs 90 crore for not wearing a mask but has not been able to implement the guidelines for proper conduct in Kovid-19.
