Suresh Raina ready to go to UAE for the rest of IPL 2021, Mahendra Singh Dhoni confirmed

Chennai Super Kings star batsman Suresh Raina will travel to the UAE to play the remaining matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. Raina confirmed this by sharing a photo with Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his social media account. The BCCI on Saturday confirmed the decision to transfer the remaining matches of the IPL 2021 to the UAE at SGM, following which fans had a lot of fun with Raina on Twitter.

Sharing a photo on Twitter with Dhoni, Raina wrote: ‘Dubai will meet soon’. In fact, in IPL 2020, there have been reports of a lot of room controversy between Raina and Chennai Super Kings management and it is said that this left-handed batsman is not happy with his room arrangement. Raina returned to India from the UAE in the IPL 2020 without playing for CSK. Raina later clarified that she had no disputes with her CSK manager. Raina said her name was withdrawn from IPL 2020 due to personal reasons.

However, in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League, Raina was seen playing with Chennai Super Kings and their performance was spectacular. Raina is one of the few players in the IPL to have played 200 matches in this T20 league. Suresh Raina scored 123 runs at a strike rate of 126.80 in 7 matches played in Tuvu this season, during which he hit a half-century. Raina has played 200 matches in the IPL so far, scoring 5,491 runs at a strike rate of 136.89. Raina has scored 39 fifties and a century in the Indian Premier League.
