Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021: BCCI shares schedule of knockout matches

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the first domestic tournament played in India during the Corona era, is now slowly making its way to the knockout matches. BCCI shared its schedule on its Twitter account. Under this, the first quarter-final of the tournament will be played on January 26 between Karnataka and Punjab. Moreover, the second quarter-final match will be played on the same day between Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh. All matches will be played at Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.

According to the BCCI, the other two quarterfinals of the tournament will be held on January 27. In the third quarter, Haryana will face Baroda, while Rajasthan and Bihar will face each other in the fourth and final match. The semifinals will be held on January 29 after the quarter-finals end on January 27.

On January 29, the winning teams of the second and fourth quarterfinals will play in the first semifinals. In addition, the second semifinal will be played on the same day, in which the winning teams of the first and third quarters will face each other. The final of the tournament will be held on January 31.
