Tata is bringing these customers a new electric sedan with a driving range of 213km and charging in just 90 minutes

Tata Motors, the country’s largest automaker, today announced the launch of a brand new ‘Express’ exclusive for fleet (Convoy) customers. All vehicles in the fleet segment will be fitted with a neatly designed badge express. This has been done to distinguish between private and fleet vehicles.

According to information shared by the company, the first electric sedan will be launched under the Express brand. This is a new redesigned version of the company’s famous sedan Tiger. The company aims to make this new electric car suitable for use by corporate and government departments. It promotes the use of electric vehicles instead of petrol and diesel.

The first vehicle to be launched under the Express brand is the ‘Express-T’ EV, an electric sedan. Corporate and Government Fleet aims to provide better mobility services to customers. It comes with an ideal size battery which has a good fast charging solution.

Commenting on the launch of the Express brand, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit President Shailesh Chandra said, “I am very happy to release the Express branded vehicles. Fleet provides smart and future-ready mobility solutions that meet the specific needs of customers, government, corporate and mobility services. ”

The all-new Express-T electric sedan will soon be available for booking at select dealers across the country. The company will offer it with two different driving range options. The company claims that its higher version delivers a driving range of up to 213 km on a single charge, while the lower version delivers up to 165 km. Let us tell you, this is an ARAI certified range for testing.

The company used a 21.5 kW and 16.5 kW capacity battery pack in this electric sedan. It also has a fast charging system so it can charge up to 0-80 percent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes respectively. You can charge this car with a 15A power socket for home use.
