Team India leaves for England tour – see photos and videos

Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams left for Mumbai on Wednesday night. Virat Kohli & Co and Mithali Raj & Co will arrive in England on Thursday (June 3). Dual teams have traveled to England by chartered flight. The women’s cricket team needs to play a single Test match against England and three one-day internationals and T20 Internationals. The men’s team will play the final of the ICC World Test Championship and a five-match Test series against England.

Pictures of Team India’s departure time were shared by the Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI), the official Twitter handle. Virat and Co are due to play the final of the ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand in Southampton on June 18. The women’s team tour will start June 16. The only Test match between India and the England women’s team will be played in Bristol from 16 June. For the first time in seven years, the Indian women’s cricket team will play a Test match.

Virat and company have played a five-match Test series against England since August 4, following the final of the World Test Championships. The tour ends on September 14th. Following this, the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
