The Indian team’s star off spinner R Ashwin has been named ICC’s best cricketer of the month for February. He defeated England Test captain Joe Root in this run. Earlier in January, the award was won by wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. Ashwin had a spectacular performance in the four-match Test series against England in February. He made a memorable performance not only with the ball but also with the bat. He took 32 wickets in the entire series, which is India’s record.
